my name is preston, and i’m looking for a place to stay in or around eagan. while i’m currently in boston working with an educational nonprofit, i’ll be back in minnesota come august to teach in eagan. i’m looking for housing in the area and hoping to find something that’s both a good fit and within my price range.i'm an avid reader, and my room will definitely feature a small bookcase with some of the works that i'll read in my spare time. i unashamedly love romantic comedies made in the 90s, but i enjoy pretty much any kind of movie that isn't horror. while i'm still expanding my recipe books, i love to cook: cheese fondue is a favorite. i have a passion for improv and theater and enjoy spending nights out to see a show every once in a while. i also juggle.
in general, you'll find me to be a quiet and respectful roommate. while i love socializing, i also enjoy moments alone. i'll be working in the schools every weekday, and i'll likely be out of the house from 7am - 5pm on a weekday basis. generally i'll either spend my evenings in common spaces if i'm feeling well or in my room working if i have a lot to prepare for or need time to myself. while i prefer cooking family style dinners, i can also cook for myself if that's preferable. quiet and respectful is right up my alley, and i prefer small groups to large. you won't hear me blasting music or bringing over twenty people on a friday night. i'm not looking for anything fancy or elaborate, just a room to call my own.
