our lease is up december 31st and we are looking to fill one available room for january 1st!about the house: - 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms - central air/heat - fully furnished except for the room up for rent - open floor plan on first floor, large living room and dining room combo with half bath - large kitchen with double door fridge, gas oven/cooktop, built in microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal - door through kitchen leads to patio and yard - basement with washer/dryer and plenty of storage - on second floor 2 bedrooms and large full bath
room for rent: - on second floor, bedroom adjacent to brand new bathroom rents for $620 --roommate that lives there currently fits a full size bed, two dressers, a chair with ottoman and a rack to hang clothes
who we are: -two young professional females in their early to mid twenties. we get along great so preference would be to a similar roommate. during the week we are very low key and on the weekends we are down on main street most of the time! we are looking for someone who we can be friends with and not just someone that pays rent every month.
faq: 1. are utilities included? no, we split electric, gas, and comcast (internet/cable) our landlord pays water. we've had some months when utilities are very low $65/person, but we anticipate higher bills in the winter.
2. is there parking? no, we don't have a driveway, and in our neighborhood its mostly by chance if you get a spot since we are so close to main st. easy parking can be found from the hours of 7am to 6pm. there are also lots you can rent a spot close by. we are about a 5 minute walk from the manayunk train station that takes you right into center city.
3. are pets allowed? no.
4. will my king bed fit? no. we suggest you bring a split box spring to get it up the stairs.
5. how long is the lease? our lease runs jan 1st to dec 31st. the only reason our roommate is moving out at the end of our lease is to relocated for her job.
