Additional Information
looking to find a gay or gay-friendly guy to share a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo starting september 1st or sooner. $675 would be your part of the monthly rent, plus splitting the utilities (electric, water, wifi/cable).the condo is on grove blvd in se austin and includes a living/dining area, kitchen, and a private deck for common areas. your bedroom is 9.5x11.5 with a 6x6 walk-in closet. there is one assigned parking spot included for you. the complex has a clubhouse and pool. it's a 10-15 minute drive to downtown austin and the ut campus, and is located across the street from acc's riverside campus and the riverside golf course. it's on numerous bus lines, including two that go straight downtown (20, 4), with a bus stop right outside the complex entrance. there's also got guerrero park with secret beach at the end of the street.
i am a doctoral student in music composition at ut. i keep pretty busy with composing and performing and school work, but i try to keep a healthy work/play balance. when not pursuing music, i am usually enjoying austin with friends, the parks and lakes, the bars and restaurants, theater, live music, also a big baseball fan here but i haven't had a chance to hit the local minor league games. i split my time between my place and my boyfriend's place downtown, so there would be nights you'll have the condo to yourself. my bf also travels sometimes for work, and i usual dog-sit his amazing, blue-nosed pit bull when he does, so being dog-friendly is a plus.
i'm looking for a gay or gay-friendly male, mid-20 to mid-40s, young professional or grad student or artist-type who is responsible and respectful. i'd prefer a non-smoker (outdoor smoking is fine), and i'm not drug or 420 friendly. i do enjoy a good cocktail, so if you can make a good old fashion or dirty martini, then great! i'd like to build a friendly, comfortable home atmosphere with whomever i share the place. communication is important, along with cleanliness and mutual respect.
