i'm looking for a roommate to share my 1200 sq ft twin home in ardmore. preferably 6 month or longer lease, but shorter term may be ok. let me know what kind of timeframe you're looking for. you would pay $700 a month with a one month security deposit, plus half the utilities.about the house:
there are 3 bedrooms, with the smallest serving as an office. you would get the middle-sized bedroom, and we can share the office (but i don't regularly work from home, so i really don't use that room much). the bedroom is furnished, but i can remove that furniture if you don't want to use it. this is a 90 year old house with all hardwood floors. largish covered porch in front and a deck in the back. unfinished basement for laundry and storage. gas heat (radiators) and gas stove. verizon fios internet and tv.
about pets:
i have a 35 pound dog who is good with most other dogs and cats, and i love both dogs and cats, so your animals will probably be fine. i do not have a fenced in yard, but there is a great dog park a few miles away that i visit most days.
about the location:
it's pretty convenient to the nearby colleges like haverford, villanova, bryn mawr, and st. joe's. the house is a quarter mile from the ardmore station on the norristown high speed line, and a mile from the ardmore station on the paoli/thorndale line.
