looking for someone to take over my half of the lease on a 2 bed/2bath apartment in alexandria, va. the available room is the master bedroom. it has an extremely large walk in closet and en-suite bathroom. very spacious and private. w/d in unit. i sold my other furniture but still have a mattress and box spring that i would be willing to sell if you’re interested.

remaining roommate is a 30 yo professional male; athletic, hard working, fun, etc… works an 8-4 schedule but is typically up and out of the apartment by 6:30am… happy to give more specific details if you’re in fact interested in the unit. i listed in the ad that there aren’t children; however, my roommate does have a son (3 yo). he doesn’t live with us, but he will typically have him sunday nights and a week night as well. it hasn’t ever been an issue for me, but it explains a few of the toys in the living room.
the apartment complex is the avana. building is right next to exsport fitness if you enjoy working out- location is right off 395/king street and right up the hill from shirlington village.
parking is included in the advertised $950 price. if you don’t have a car, base rent will be $50 less. utilities and cable are extra, and typically cost about $150 per month (cable is $70). so you’re looking at $1050-$1100 all inclusive. there’s no fee for a lease transfer, just the cost for the application ($50), which i would be happy to cover. we put down a $250 deposit which i also expect to get back, and which would be yours to keep since i don’t expect anyone to track me down in 7 months. the lease goes until 26 june 2016.
